Call for papers: UK’s Political Studies Association Graduate Conference, Oxford University

Call for papers: Political Studies Association Annual Graduate Conference

The annual Political Studies Association Postgraduate Network Conference will be held at Oxford University on December 12th, 2013. The conference will be an opportunity for graduate students to showcase and develop ongoing research, to develop presentation skills and to network beyond their area of specialisation.

The deadline to submit a panel or paper proposal is 8th November.

The conference format will consist of themed panels. Any graduate student may organise a panel and we are keen to receive proposals for papers and panels in any sub-field of political studies. Each panel will contain a minimum of three and a maximum of five papers (maximum 6,000 words).

In order to take part in panel you will need to be a member of the PSA. You can join online at www.psa.ac.uk/join-psa. Only PSA members will be able to present their work, but membership is not required for other attendees.

Limited financial assistance is available. If you would like to apply, please submit no more than 300 words with your proposal detailing the reasons for requiring PSA funding.

Information on this conference and future PSA-PGN events will be available on the PSA Graduate Network website (http://www.psa.ac.uk/psa-communities/graduate-network).  To submit a proposal for a paper or a panel, please submit an abstract of no more than 300 words no later than 8th November. Applicants will be notified if their papers are accepted by 10th November

For any questions regarding the conference, please contact the PSA-PGN officers at pgn@psa.ac.uk
