Cameron lags 16% behind Miliband with female voters after cuts to child … Daily Mail Support for the Conservatives among women voters has slumped following cuts to child benefit, dithering over childcare reform, and the ever-rising cost of living, a poll revealed yesterday. Among male voters, the Conservatives are now one point ahead, at 36 points to 35. But among female voters, Labour has soared to a commanding 16-point lead, recording 45 per cent support compared with just 29 per cent for the Conservatives. The stark contrast will underline concerns in Downing Street that David Cameron has lost his appeal to female voters following a series of measures perceived as anti-women.
