Cameron ignores women in Cabinet reshuffle By mid-morning at least three female members of the Cabinet had lost their jobs and only two had been appointed.There were fears that David Cameron had failed to deliver on his pledge to appoint more women in his first reshuffle as Prime Minister. The hope will be that the Prime Minister promotes more junior Tory MPs in coming hours to the Government such as Liz Truss and Andrea Leadsom to redress the balance.

UK’s Cameron reshuffles Cabinet The Voice of Russia …In keeping with his word to increase the number of women in the government, David Cameron promoted Transport Minister Theresa Villiers to Northern Ireland Secretary, while disabilities minister Maria Miller replaced Jeremy Hunt as Culture Secretary.
